      The St. Pius X St. Vincent de Paul society helps with various needs including:

      • An Open Clinic for Neighbors in Need (NIN) of help. We are open every third Tuesday from 1:00 - 3:00 PM 

      • The St. Pius X Non Perishable Food Pantry.

    • Loaves and Fishes Community Meal

      "Our program’s goal is to positively impact the hungry and food insecure in the Fox Valley community by providing free, nutritious, evening meals. We help the food insecure stretch their food budget. We help the homeless who are hungry. Children who do not have access to school meals in the summer can come to our program for a free evening meal with their families. Our focus is serving meals that meet the nutritional requirements to promote health and well-being in adults and children."

      Meals available M,W,F 5-6 pm. Takeout or dine in.

      Park in the lot off of Summer Street and go to the double glass doors on the side of the building on the far east end across from the garden.

    • LEAVEN

      LEAVEN provides limited financial assistance to people who are struggling to meet their basic needs and have nowhere else to turn for help. In addition, we provide a warm hand off to connect people to other resources within our building and through referrals to the greater community.  We provide advocacy and service coordination to address the household's immediate need and help achieve self-sufficiency.

      We help with:

      • Rent, mortgage payments and security deposits

      • Utilities—including water, gas, electricity, propane and fuel oil

      • Car repairs

      • Health insurance premiums

      • Gas vouchers, bus passes, diapers, and toiletries

      • Referrals for clothing and furniture

      • Other basic necessities

    • Fr. Carr's Place to Be


      Shelter
      Father Carr’s offers temporary housing for men, women and children. All immediate needs are taken care of including three meals a day. Residents will receive support and guidance to transition to independent living.

      Food
      Our food bank provides groceries every Friday to those in need. Our Daily Bread is available each day providing bread, baked goods and other foods as available. All are welcome!

      Free Clinic
      For those in need of medical care, licensed medical personnel volunteer to provide healthcare for the underinsured or uninsured.

      Community
      Our Life Enrichment Center (Mother Teresa Center) is open daily. If you need support, friendship, or a place to serve this is the Place 2B!
