What is Franciscan at Home?
FraniciscanAtHome.com is an online learning platform that is specifically designed to help form those who are working in the ministry of the Catholic Church – clergy, catechists, school teachers, youth ministers, adult group leaders, volunteers, even (and especially) parents. There are currently have over 800 workshops available the platform, with new releases each month!
Whether you would like to simply learn more about the faith or want to be a better catechist, teacher, or parent, this is an excellent resource for you!
Franciscan At Home is a resource created by the Franciscan University Catechetical Institute out of the renowned Franciscan University in Steubenville, Ohio.
Officially launched in 2016, the Franciscan University Catechetical Institute seeks to serve Christ and his Church by forming those Catholics entrusted with the formation of others. This includes priests, deacons, and parents, as well as lay ecclesial ministers, teachers, religious, and parish catechists. Through conferences, online courses, personal support, and new catechetical resources, we make the riches of the Catholic faith more available and accessible to clergy and lay catechists alike.
Franciscan At Home is made FREE to all parishes in the diocese through the Diocese of Green Bay!
What is great about Franciscan At Home is that you are not left to do this alone. Each learner is assigned a mentor to accompany each learner as they journey to learn more about the truths of the faith.
