Description
Take a step away from the pace of daily life. Spend a weekend of prayer and renewal with other men from St. Pius X as we enter Into the Heart of the Shepherd—a theme inviting us to draw close to the heart of Christ. Enjoy inspiring talks, good conversation, and time to take in the beauty of the camp. The lake, the trails, and the eucharistic chapel offer space to rest, reflect, and be refreshed.
Start Time: 7:00pm on Friday September 18th
End Time: 12:30pm Sunday September 20th
Cost: $100 (covers lodging, all meals for Saturday, breakfast on Sunday)
If you cannot afford the full registration cost, please contact Shileng regarding options for financial assistance. We will do our best to make sure this can be affordable for all who would like to attend.

Transportation will not be provided by the parish, however, many of the participants may be willing to carpool.

What are the sleeping arrangements?: Sleeping arrangements are classic cabin‑style bunkbeds—think summer‑camp nostalgia with a dash of brotherhood. If you prefer a bit more solitude, feel free to pitch a tent and create your own little hermitage under the stars.

Guest Speaker - Scott Follett
We are excited to welcome Scott Follett as a guest speaker for the retreat! Scott is the founder of Primal Eats, a family‑owned barbecue restaurant and food‑manufacturing business in Gillett, WI. A lifelong entrepreneur and man of faith, Scott built Primal Eats alongside his wife, Sally, and their four children, blending Texas‑style barbecue with a mission of hospitality, community, and Catholic witness. He attributes the business’s rapid growth to God’s providence, the intercession of St. Lawrence, and the dedication of his team. Through Primal Eats and its charitable partnerships, Scott works to share good food, support local families, and keep faith at the heart of everyday life.
